As promised, here are some pictures of our new home. It is in no way complete, but I wanted to show y'all some pictures so that you can visualize where we are! I know it helped me to have pictures of where Eric was when I was not with him so that when we chatted I could imagine where he was.
Well, our house is a duplex. We are the one on the right #560 A! It has two bedrooms, an office, a family room, dining room, kitchen, laundry area and one bath. It is way more space than we know what to do with right now, but that is better than not having enough space!!! It also has closets all over the place, a backyard and a huge shed - all of which are filled with boxes!! I guess I will let you see for yourself.
Most of you have already seen this picture, but it is the view of our front yard. We are the house on the right! Gotta love the giant front yard - for Japan this is unheard of!!!

This is the view of the house from down the hill in the back. It is really nice because we live on a hill, and there aren't any houses right behind us! There is a playground a few hundred feet away!
This is the view of the backyard (well part of it). It also goes off to the left . It is "L" shaped - the puppies LOVE it!
Welcome to the inside of our home!
This is the view up the stairs when you first open the front door. The living area is to the right. The kitchen, laundry and dining areas are to the left, and the bedrooms, office and bathroom are up the stairs.

That is our small desk - it is actually part of the rental furniture. We are planning on putting a desk there. The sofa and the TV are in the room to the right. The front door is now on your right, and the stair case is on your left.

Here is a view from the inside of the house looking back at the front door. I am standing where the TV is located! That is our new sofa - it is so comfy! Also, the leather ottoman opens up for even more storage!
And the view from the sofa. Here is Eric's baby. We bought the new 46" Sony Bravia HD TV and surround sound system. It is fabulous! He loves it!
Here is a view of the kitchen from the dining room. We will skip pictures of the dining room because there is nothing in it. It is good size though, and it has a lot of natural light - definitely enough room for a big table as soon as we buy one :) The door you see is the door to the backyard. The kitchen is to your left and the laundry area is to your right.
This picture doesn't really show the kitchen very well, but it actually quite large. The fridge is to your left. The door outside is to your right. The stove is back in the corner, and yes, we have a dishwasher. It is actually a Japanese dishwasher with no English buttons on it, but it works!
